Ref: NLB1475NLB Solutions are working with a business based close to Hemel Hempstead. They have a requirement for an Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller to join their team due to their current person relocating. The business release approx. 500/600 invoices monthly, which are reconciled against the bank accounts and chased if not received, assist with the calculation of employee’s commission, sickness and holiday which is passed to an external payroll company. The role will report to the MD/Founder of the business and full training will be provided.
The business needs someone that has worked in a similar role previously, and ideally have good Excel and knowledge of Xero would be beneficial. In return the company will offer full training, free parking and some flexibility on the working hours. The client is looking to recruit someone as quickly as possible so the new employee will have a thorough handover.
• Daily reconciliations of incoming / outgoing payments
• Credit Control
• Creating debtor list
• Paying supplier invoices
• Calculation of commission for Sales team, holiday and sickness details and passing details to external Payroll Company
• Previously worked in a similar role
• Credit control
• Good Excel skills
• Working hours are 8am – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 12 on Fridays – they may consider reduced hours, but the successful candidate must be in the office every day.
