A growing business based in Watford are currently looking to hire an exceptional payroll individual to join their growing team. Having been in operation for just over five years the company now works throughout the UK providing valuable services to a multitude of companies offering numerous packages to rectify issues which every business suffers. Due to this they require an individual who can manage a high volume of payroll – accurately.

This is an ever-changing role, so you must be able to work with the senior team and work positively with the companies and clients at short notice. You will be the first port of call for all payroll related queries both internally and externally and communication is key.

Job Description

  • Take ownership of nonstandard monthly/weekly payroll
  • Ensure integrity of all data following internal and HMRC requirements
  • Ensure function complies with HMRC standards
  • P35’s and P60’s submitted in timely manner
  • Reconcile P35 submissions monthly
  • Manage pension returns
  • Ensure all relevant information on payments complies with HMRC requirements

Background Required

  • Must have a high level of accuracy and timeliness
  • High volume exposure
  • Knowledge of HMRC practices and legislations
  • Strong understanding of MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent data entry skills
