Purchase Ledger Clerk
An opportunity to join a well establish FTSE 250 business as a purchase ledger clerk has been registered. The purchase ledger clerk is to work in small team of 5 and report into the purchase ledger manager. The role will require someone with experience in processing invoices but will also support someone that is studying the AAT qualifications at the early stages. The business require someone that experience in dealing with invoice processing.
The business are based in excellent offices in the heart of Watford and are easily accessed by public transport links. With a manager that has been with the business for a number of years this role will be well supported going forwards.
Duties:
- Processing invoices and credit notes
- Forward invoices to relevant supplier if required
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Ensure payments are made weekly to suppliers
- Scan and file invoices
- Investigate outstanding bank rec items
- Deal with queries from business or supplier
- Ad-hoc duties
Person spec:
- Good communications skills
- Intermediate excel skills
- Experience in purchase ledger
