Ref: NLB 1448NLB Solutions are working with a large business based in St Albans for a purchase ledger clerk to join an existing team. The business are looking for an individual that is keen and capable to take on ledger and complex reconciliations work for the division. This company have a specialist financial controller that the purchase ledger clerk will report into. With this is mind there is real capacity to learn and grow.
The business are based in great offices and offer hybrid working for the time being and offer parking as well. This division have a dedicated controller as this offers a dedicated direction.
• To take operational responsibility for timely and accurate import of invoices into the Purchase Ledger maintained in Sage 50.
• To ensure that all Purchase Ledger Accounts are reconciled with supplier statements/payments on a quarterly basis.
• To take on various ad-hoc tasks within the department.
• To cover for other members of the reconciliations team during leave and sickness etc.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required (for accounts and other departments)
• Excellent Excel skills
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and reconciliation
• excellent communication skills
