Ref: NLB1479NLB Solutions are working with a business based in Elstree that are looking for a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst role is newly created to support the Head of Finance in producing reports that help with strategic decision making going forward. With a requirement to work closely with operations, commercial and finance functions to help drive reporting and commercial decisions going forward.
The business have an excellent team and work environment with a very supportive head of finance that will help to make the new person settle into the new business. The business need someone that excellent Excel and IT skills to ensure that IT Systems can be integrated to produce the relevant information
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of existing company systems and tools, quickly becoming the subject matter expert.
• Responsible for day-to-day housekeeping and maintenance of the company CRM system.
• Responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of internal reports.
• Development and enhancement of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) across the group.
• Inventory management and reporting.
• Approval of payments on online banking platform.
• Development and maintenance of tools to support global commercial functions, with a focus on sourcing, evaluation of opportunities and tender management, to attempt to systemise as much as possible.
• Support the translation of business requirements into technical proposals for future systems.
• Review data accuracy and support data cleansing exercises and initiatives where necessary.
• Support functions to standardise group reporting and create visual dashboards.
• Line management of Business Systems Co-ordinator, providing direction and support as required.
• Conduct ad-hoc tasks, as required by management.
• Excellent analytical skills, including data extraction and analysis – comfortable working with large volumes of data.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience of other analytical tools such as Power BI.
• An aptitude for problem solving.
• Able to develop and maintain and in-depth knowledge of processes and systems.
• Excellent communication skills (including written and spoken English language).
• Interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills.
• Able to interpret and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
• Experience of working cross-functionally.
• Self-motivated with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Able to collaborate cross-functionally at varying levels in the organisation.
• Ethical and reliable.
• Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software platforms.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP B1.
