An exciting chance to join a large business in Watford as an assistant accountant. The company are looking for an active studier to complete the CIMA or ACCA qualification. The role is reporting into an experienced manager that has years of financial accounting experience and will work as a member of a team that will take responsibility for a number of entities. With a great environment that has been recently relocated to, this company are looking at great development for development in the future.
The company offer a chance for someone to complete the qualifications with a supportive set of senior accountants and managers that are looking to help succession plan for future needs.
• Reviewing, analysing, and preparing month-end management accounts
• Providing performance reports, commentary including variances analysis, key performance indicators against budgets and forecasts
• Calculating, reviewing, and maintaining accrual expenses, overhead journals, and month-end accounting accrual adjustments.
• Cash book reconciliations on several banks’ accounts.
• Part qualified, AAT or similar
• Excellent numeracy & excel skills
• Communication & a team player
• Motivated, hunger to learn new processes & systems
