Management Accountant

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity to work fast growing business in Ware as a Management Accountant. With a fresh modern feel to the business, the office reflects the way the business is looking to expand its footprint. The role will report into the Financial Controller and requires an individual that is keen to mentor and help develop the team around them. Hence, the company are looking for someone newly qualified or in the later stages of studies ACCA or CIMA.

Duties:
- Management Accounts for the Group of business and any newly acquired business
- Month end journals including accruals and prepayments
- Reporting, reconciling, payroll, sales and purchase ledger
- Year end and statutory accounts
- Financial reporting
- Working with the auditors, preparation and query resolution
- Mentoring the team
Person Spec:
- ACCA or CIMA qualified (or Part Qualified)
- Experience of working on Sage 50 (not essential)
- Good Excel skills
- A real team player with excellent communication skills
