NLB Solutions are working closely with a large business in St Albans to find a Credit Analyst. The Credit Analyst is working with the finance team to arrange for new businesses and existing customers to set credit limits and analysis of payment patterns. This is a hands on role that needs someone to set up accounts and deal with the administration of accounts and the data that is used. The role needs someone that has experience of a wide ranging credit role in the past.
The business have a well established team of collections specialists and senior managers that support them. This role does have a lot interaction with all areas of finance and needs someone that has excellent communication skills.
• Opening credit accounts
• Ensuring credit applications are correctly completed
• Research the new company details
• Getting in contact with the customers for more information
• Communicating with credit checking company
• Analysing financial data
• Risk assess customer and set Credit Limits
• Recommend Larger Limits to Credit Manager for approval
• Once approved, follow the standard opening account process
• Supplying information to the Credit Manager to be included in the board report
• Update the customer account maintenance where appropriate
• Send out statements, invoices, credits etc
• Reactivating credit accounts
• Opening web accounts
• Credit increases/decreases – Running reports and making changes to the account
• End of Day Banking process & Banking
• Assisting with Payment allocation
• Taking payments
• Assisting the Credit Team with Account Collections
• Excellent analytical skill
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of credit control and analysis
• Experience of working in a fast paced, busy environment
