Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:

NLB Solutions are working closely with a large international business in Harpenden that are looking for a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist will support the centralised function across the business and work closely with the HR function to run the payroll efficiently using the third party outsourced payroll provider. This role requires someone that is an experienced and versatile payroll specialist.

Duties:
- Supporting the central outsourced Payroll functions
- Liaising with HR Manager and uploading all documents to ADP system
- Liaising with the outsourced Payroll Bureau’s and local Accounting firms to meet all local compliance and resolve queries.
- Request for funding and ad hoc payments as required
- Month end processing of payroll journals across all International companies
- Monthly reconciliation of all payroll accounts to GL for all companies
- Continuous improvement of the payroll processes utilising the system to its capacity
- Uploading Pension contributions monthly
- Processing P11D information for UK payroll and working with ADP
- Provide reports and analysis for yearly Audit across all countries
- Produce Bonus slips for employees across all companies – automate
- Maintain list of International employees by company
- Budgeting for all company’s payroll expense and adding new employees to Budget.
- Preparing Budget upload files
- Liaising with Accountants to explain variances to Budget
- Participate in ad hoc tasks and projects where required
Person Spec:
- Previous payroll experience required – minimum 2 years
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP System experience preferable
