Finance Manager

Job Summary:

NLB Solutions are working with an expanding business helping them with an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager that will support a team of 3 accounts staff. The Finance Manager will need to understand the entire finance process, from ledgers, reconciliations, month end processes, through to financial reporting and monthly returns. This role will support the Directors in providing financial advice to help steer the business through its next phase of expansion. Once the Finance Manager has supported the Director, they will partner managers in understanding the budgets that each department needs to work within. The business are looking for someone is qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar experience.

Duties:
- Oversight of all purchase and sales ledger
- Oversight of credit control
- Posting of journals, accruals and prepayments, updating fixed asset register
- Monthly management accounts
- VAT returns and statistical returns
- Working with external accountants on audits
- All accounting duties that are required
Person Spec:
- Ideally qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar
- Good excel and systems experience, ideally Sage
- Experience of managing a small team
