Management Accountant

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity for graduate that is studying either ACCA or CIMA with experience of being a hands on Management Accountant. The role will need someone that is on either stage 2 or 3 of the studies and someone that is looking for a role that will enhance their commercial abilities. With the chance to gain more exposure at a senior level, this role will offer the successful candidate to more than meet the requirements to be qualified within 2 years.

The company will offer study support but more importantly mentoring from the senior team that has doubled the size of the business through acquisition and organic growth. Duties:
- Production of Management Accounts for Group Companies
- Maintain and reconcile key accounts schedules, Fixed Assets, Prepayments, Accruals etc
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Produce of Daily Sales Reports
- Payroll Journals from Payroll Reports
- Assist with end of Year External Audit Preparation and Testing.
- Produce and Issue of Sales Pack – including KPI reports
- Weekly reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Stock Take Reporting
- Attending Stock Takes – to ensure procedure compliance
- Transport Cost Reporting
- Credit Card, and Employee Expenses checking Reconciling and posting to Ledger
- Other Adhoc reporting
Person Spec:
- Graduate with 2:1
- Active studier ACCA or CIMA (mid to later stages)
- Excel to a good level
- Eye for details
- Experience of producing management accounts
- Commercial awareness
