Ref: NLB1548NLB Solutions have the privilege of working with a large international business in Berkhamsted. They are currently recruiting for a motivated, energetic and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk, who will also support the HR Manager. The role will require someone that has worked in a finance administration role and also covered Purchase Ledger. This is a unique role as will also work also side the HR Manager and assist in more HR duties.
The business is looking for a candidate with 1-2 years’ experience in Purchase Ledger, including supplier reconciliations, confident to deal with supplier queries and processed payment runs. Have good organisation skills and work well on their own as well as in a team. The role is office-based Monday to Friday.
• Match Batch and Coding of invoices.
• Setting up supplier accounts.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Generating and processing payment runs.
• Processing and paying employee expenses via the AP ledger.
• Assisting HR with update employee details.
• Create starter packs for new employees.
• Track and record absences.
• Assist HR with adhoc duties when required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in Purchase Ledger.
• Experience of working in a finance team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A can-do attitude with a flexible approach, a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ERP systems would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS packages.
