Treasury Assistant

Job Summary:

NLB Solutions are working with a large international business in Harpenden to find a Treasury Clerk on a 6 month contract. The business have been growing through international acquisitions and reallocation of teams to the UK and the international head office. Having recently expanded into another floor of the offices that they are in, the business is looking to add to the team with this role.

The business is looking for someone that is able to come into the team and take on responsibilities of reconciliations and banking duties. The business need someone with good excel and a background of working with international bank accounts. The team are supportive and long standing and will help to integrate the new individual.
Duties:
- Support the centralisation of outsourced Treasury functions
- Processing and matching against invoices all bank transactions daily
- Processing of timely payment runs for Suppliers. employees and Intercompany
- Processing of ad hoc payments and direct debits
- Month end closing of Treasury / Banks ensuring deadlines are met
- Production of all Bank statements and reconciliation to GL
- Manage the ‘Sweep’ process and book entries accordingly
- Cashflow forecasting to ensure enough funds available
- Continuous improvement of the Treasury processes
Person Spec:
- Previous Treasury, multi-currency experience
- Ability to work well in a pressurised environment
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP System experience preferable (JD Edwards, E1 or Enterprise one)
