NLB Solutions have the privilege of working with a growing Business Services Consultancy based in St Albans. In close proximity to the St Albans Abbey train station, this business is easily accessible via public transport. They are currently recruiting a Qualified Finance Manager who has experience operating/managing Client Money Accounts in accordance with the rules set out in the FCA’s Client Assets sourcebook, high volume reconciliations and proven management experience.

The suitable candidate will join an excellent business known for their internal culture. The company encourages personal development and growth, and the Finance Manager will manage a established team of reconciliation clerks, must have experience/knowledge of CASS rules and ideally worked within Financial Services
• Perform daily bank reconciliations of a number of product accounts
• Responsibility for internal client money reconciliations, CASS operational oversight of client money accounts
• Raising cheques, and monitor cheque payments
• Input daily transfers and payments on to relevant internet banking system
• Provide back-up support to the cashier function
• Produce management information as determined by direct line manager
• Understanding of client money regulations
• Keen to develop themselves and play an integral part in the business’ growth
• Able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
• With previous experience dealing with high volume reconciliations
• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
