Audit Supervisor

Job Summary:

NLB Solutions have the privilege of working with a well-established 5+ partner accountancy practice, based in Central London. The firm is located a 5 minute walk away from the Central, Northern, Circle, District, Metropolitan and Waterloo lines making it easily accessible to most/all commuting into London.

Following sustained growth, the firm is in need of an Audit Supervisor keen on mentoring junior staff through their development and full qualification.

This is an Audit Supervisor role overseeing a team of Part Qualified and Trainee Accountants/Auditors, which reports directly into the Partners. The role is split 70% Audits and 30% Accounts preparation, and looks after a wide range of large corporations and small family businesses.
Duties:
- Overseeing and performing Audits start to finish ensuring that all legislations are successfully adhered to.
- Reviewing files prepared for presentation to Partner.
- Reviewing corporation tax returns and supporting computations of corporate clients.
- Take an active role in the preparation of tenders for new clients.
- Review and appraise members of the audit team following each audit and every 6 months.
- Train and mentor juniors assigned to the audit team.
- Working hours: 09.30 – 17.30
Person Spec:
- ACA Qualified.
- With previous experience using Caseware, Alphatax, Xero, Sage.
- With good knowledge of FRS 102, IFRS, and UK GAAP.
