Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:

NLB Solutions are working with a business in Borehamwood that are looking for a new Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant to join a small team within finance. The role will report to a finance manager and offer the opportunity to take on month end tasks as well as deal with the daily transactional duties. The role is going to allow the new starter help support the day to day running of finance duties for this business.

With a small but very supportive management team, this role will make an excellent next step for the right person to help develop an individuals skill set. The company are not looking to have a studier join as they do not have a development plan that will support this type of growth.
Duties:
- Drafting financial reports
- Ensure the timely processing of account transactions through Sage 50, including purchase invoices and bank transactions.
- Pension scheme reconciliations
- Update processes and procedures
- Employee benefits admin
- Initial payroll input.
- Assisting with month end accounts
- Prepare monthly payment for supplier accounts, checking and reconciliation.
- Collection, reconciliation and posting of the employee expenses.
- General administration relating to finance and office administration
Person Spec:
- Experience of Sage 50/200
- Previous experience of purchase ledger
- Good Excel skills
