Financial Controller

Job Summary:

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced financial controller has arisen with one of our clients in Watford.

The role reports into the Head of Finance and supports them with production of management information for newly realised revenue streams.

The organisation are looking for someone either qualified ACCA, CIMA or AAT, as well as having some experience delivering on charity returns (SORP) and ideally from a housing background.
The organisation have undergone growth over the last 12 months, with plans of doubling their turnover even further over the next 5 years, and so will be able to offer an environment of development and growth going forward.
With this in mind they offer a well-established supportive structure to help individuals maximise their potential.
Duties:
- Consolidation of management accounts
- Report of income, expenditure, cashflow, balance sheets and analysis
- Management accounts for all entities
- Management of cash flow, expenditure and provide forecasting information
- Project accounting with analysis and commentary
- Overall control of ledgers for month end and financial accounting
- Overall control of collections
- Prepare budgets and rolling forecasts
- Reporting on performance of business
- Prepare statutory accounts and reporting
- Fixed asset and balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare returns for VAT and corporation tax
Person Spec:
- Excellent system skills
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA or AAT
- Ideally from charity or housing background
- An experienced Accountant
