NLB Solutions are working with a large business in Watford who are recruiting a Financial Accountant. The role will require you to assist the senior finance manager in the day-to-day financial accounting, reporting and reconciliations. The candidate must possess a good technical knowledge of financial accounting and reporting.
The role will report into the Senior Finance Manager and work within an established small team. The successful candidate must have worked in a similar role previously and have good technical knowledge, US GAAP accounting experience would be preferred but not essential.
• Financial accounting and reporting
• Calculate and post monthly journals
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Maintain a complete set of US GAAP ledgers and reconciliations and general periodic journals
• Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Good technical knowledge
• Excel experience including v-look ups and pivot tables
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
