Reconciliations Analyst

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity to join a multi-site business as a reconciliations analyst. The business have a very high level of transactions and boast continued expansion over the last 5 years.

They have been classed as an essential industry during the pandemic and have implemented covid safe offices with work from home policies that are still in place with a positive reaction from the teams.

The business need someone that has experience of working in a high volume environment with lots of purchase ledger and reconciliations transactions.

Working closely with the financial controller, this is a role that is visible to senior stakeholders in the business.

The company offer an supportive environment that allows people to grow and develop internally and with a number of promotions recently, the teams are looking to back fill this role. The management have been supportive and shown to help the team reach their potential whilst with the business.
Duties:
- Reconcile daily, weekly discounts and bunkering reports
- Rectify discrepancies in discounts and bunkering transactions
- Maintain the purchase ledger account for the large fuel supplier in the fuels ledger
- Download and archive electronic copies of all fuel invoices and credit notes
- Assist the accounts department as required with various ad hoc financial accounting, analytical and reporting tasks
Person Spec:
- Experience of reconciliations and purchase ledger
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Excellent analysis skills
